This week I was very motivated to run. I was really, really feeling it! Some weeks I feel awesome and some, the thought of running hours on end is terrible and emotional. But as I said, this was a good week.

I started off my running week on Sunday with a long run. Sundays are my LSD (long slow distance) runs. This is pretty typical for runners since Sundays are race days, so it is a good habit to get into. This week I ran 32.21 kilometers at a 5:58 minutes/km pace.

Additionally, I ran a few other runs this week, some were speed work and some were just to get the legs moving. It was a pretty short week in terms of distance. It’s kind of a double edged sword because when I feel good on a run I want to reward myself with some rest and on the other hand I should be taking advantage of my fitness and get the distance in. My total distance this week was 45 km.
